No poverty in Modi’s India?

The New Delhi regional office of the Central Board of Film Certification, censor board in the common parlance, was recently reviewing a movie. A member objected to the word gharibi (poverty) in it. His argument was simple: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in charge and poverty is on its way out, so why bring a bad name to the nation? It took some persuasion to make the gentleman drop his objection.
