No new announcements: Modi to ministers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed all ministers to refrain from making new announcements, especially whose execution may be difficult.
According to official sources, the Prime Minister is firm on the credibility of his government. He doesn’t want ministers making more announcements even as old ones have not been implemented.
Modi has also urged his ministers to ensure that the promises and announcements made so far get executed by 2019, when the ruling party faces the electorate.
